This has always been my go to snack to satisfy my sweet tooth. For me a sweet treat was key to keeping me sane and healthy. This fudge is so easy to make and whilst high in calories is still clean eating.

What your need:

1. 1 cup of coconut oil (melted - only takes a 30 seconds in the microwave)

2. 1 cup of cacao powder or coco powder (any sugar or sweetner free option)

Chris's Protein Brownies

Another sweet treat that I make on a fairly regular basis. its full of fibre and another great way to help with the sweet tooth!

What you need:

1 cup pitted Medjool dates

3/4 cup hot water

3/4 cup almond flour

1/2 tsp. baking powder

2 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt

2 scoops Protein powder (60g) (I use hydrolysed beef or egg white protein)

Optional you can add honey to sweeten at 1st but over time I cutted this out!

Preheat oven to 175 degrees.

Pour the hot water over the dates in a bowl and allow to sit for 10 minutes. Drain the water from the dates and place the dates in the in a blender. Blend the dates until they are smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.

Add the almond flour, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla, Protein powder and sea salt to the food processor or blender. Process again until smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.

Spread the mixture into an 8x8-inch pan, greased with coconut oil. Bake for 20 minutes, and allow to cool before cutting.

Cut brownies into 16 square pieces. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
