Some of my Favorite breakfast & brunch recipes which are great to start the day with. For me Breakfast is just as important as any meal and should be balanced but also tasty.
My Protien pancakes
I love starting the day with these pancakes and it fills me up till my next meal every time
They are quick and simple to make and I will usually make a batch of these and freeze them. that way I can just get out a tub the night before and microwave them for 1 minuite and boom they are ready to go!
What your need:
2 cup of almond flour (ground almonds)
1/2 cup of water
2 t spoon baking powder (gluten free)
6 egg whites
4 t spoons of maple syrup (optional)
60g or 2 scoops protein powder (I use hydrolysed beef or egg white protein)
Simply add all the ingredients to a blender and blend. I will then use a large spoon to spoon out 4 pancakes to a frying pan and just gently fry then in olive oil for about 1-2 mins each side. (note depending on the protein powder if the mix if slightly to thick add another 1/2 cup of water)
This makes me 21 pancakes of which I have 4 every morning
per 1 serving 4 pancakes
